So here at Rockfreaks.net we have always taken a different approach: we think it's far more important to try to capture all relevant albums from a given year of release that will have some significance a few years down the line...

Danish classic hard rock revivalists Timechild have unveiled the official music video for their new single “And Yet It Moves”, which you can check out below. It serves as the title track on the band’s upcoming début album, which will arrive via Mighty Music this coming autumn, with more details still pending.

The band will provide support for Artillery alongside Manticora at Roskilde venue Gimle on September 03rd. Tickets for the show can be bought via the venue’s website for 175 DKK a piece, while more details are available in the official Facebook event.

Year Of No Light premieres new video single: "Réalgar"

Year Of No Light have premiered a new video single titled “Réalgar” online below. It is the first track to arrive from the Bordeaux, France-resident post-metallers’ forthcoming album “Consolamentum”, which was detailed in our previous news story and will be released through Pelagic Records on July 02nd as their first since 2013’s “Tocsin”. Pre-orders for all formats have now been launched over at this location.

Redd Kross postpones upcoming European tour again

Hawthorne, CA’s glam metal / punk group Redd Kross have once again postponed their upcoming European tour — this time until the spring next year.

That means the concert at Stengade in Copenhagen will now be taking place on March 23rd, 2022 and if you already hold a ticket, it remains valid for the new date. There are also more tickets available over at Billetlugen.dk for 155 DKK (+ fees), while more details can be found in the official Facebook event.

Hear new version of August Burns Red's track "Pangaea"

August Burns Red have posted a new version of their track “Pangaea”, now featuring a guest appearance by Periphery guitarist Misha Mansoor, online below. The track was originally released as part of the Lancaster, PA-based metalcore unit’s 2011 album “Leveler”, while this new version is included on an upcoming 10th anniversary re-issue of it. That effort will land in stores on May 21st.
