Frontman Cove recently spoke with "indierockreviews.com" about their upcoming new album:

"The whole record? I think the title sums it up pretty well. I think with the amount of touring we’ve done as a band prior to sitting down and writing this record a year ago, all of us towards the end of the 3 year cycle were pretty burned out, none of us really knew what was going to happen with the band. Not only the relationship in the band but also with the record label, the management. We all wanted to do more and more records and we will always pursue music industry whether it be with Saosin or not, but all of us at the time were like, “What are we gonna do? What’s the future of the band? Where do we go from here?” There was definitely a lot of soul searching I had to do. The guys gave me lots of freedom with the lyrics and melodies so that was nice. Personally, I had just gotten through a break up with my ex-girl friend and that was a big part of my life. For the whole last record cycle I had that girl friend and after breaking up, life in general was quite different. I had to think about what to do with my life, with my friends, who I hadn’t seen in 3 years. We didn’t know how much time we were gonna have off. We were living month to month and even week to week. There were times when I called Beau and I told Beau I’m giving this two more weeks, I can’t hang with this amount of stress, hard work, and uncertainty anymore so lots of the songs are really deep for me."
