An enormous demand for tickets to Metallica's three shows in Copenhagen next summer means that only few tickets remain for the 20th and 22nd of July, with the 23rd having sold out already. But Metallica has made an extraordinary decision to stay in Copenhagen to play an extra concert on Monday the 27th of July as well.

Billetlugen reports that no rock band has ever sold so many tickets so fast at the Forum. Tickets went on sale this morning at 09:00 GMT, and already 27,000 tickets have been sold for the three original nights. Billetlugen also reports that the stage will be placed in the centre of the venue, with the crowd surrounding it, suggesting that this may indeed be a special occasion for Metallica.
