The Copenhagen, Denmark music venue Pumpehuset, where a whole bunch of awesome rock concerts take place every year, has just lost its place as a 'regional venue', meaning loss of 1.1 million Danish crowns of revenue from the municipality of Copenhagen. This means that the place will become unprofitable and has to close already at the start of 2009 - that is unless politicians take some action.

Danish Venstre political party has promised to "do their everything" to save the venue.
