Metallica will celebrate the September 12th release of their new album "Death Magnetic" with a show at the 17,000 capacity O2 Arena in Berlin, Germany, on the same day as the album lands. This date is coincidentally also the opening day for the arena, effectively making Metallica the first band ever to perform there.

Tickets for the event will cost only €10 (yes, TEN!) and all proceedings from the event will be donated to German Heartcenter Berlin, to help with the purchase of a heart-lung machine for small children.
