Anti-Flag wants you to donate your clothes to charity on their UK tour:

"On the 18th and 19th of August, Atticus will be teaming up with US Punk Rock crew Anti Flag to help provide clothing for the Emmaus charity, and we need YOUR help.

Anti Flag have always been a band to try and get involved in the communities they play in, beyond just playing a show, and suggested that Atticus get in touch with a local shelter for their shows in London and Colchester so both Atticus and fans of the band could help donate clothes to the homeless. With this in mind, Atticus and Anti Flag will be working with the Emmaus group at both their London (18th August - ULU) and Colchester (19th August, Colchester Arts Centre) shows. There will be stands set up where fans can donate unwanted clean clothes for the homeless people that stay at Emmaus’ shelters in Colchester and South Lambeth. So this is a plea to anybody planning on attending either show- please bring down any unwanted clean clothing to the show and drop them off at the Atticus/Emmaus stands at the shows.

Chris No.2 from Anti Flag had this to say about the project... “Anytime we can actually give back to the city and community we’re playing, it is huge for us. It’s not up to one song or one band to have an impact on this world. We will be in Colchester and London for one day, and the people coming to the shows live there and it is their towns, their scene. Were just providing an opportunity to impact some people who live nearby who are less fortunate. Bring an article of clothing to the shows, your donation will be greatly appreciated. Atticus UK who we have met on various occasions were amazing enough to help out as by donating clothing to Project Emmaus, who have a local shelters in both Colchester and the greater London area. So if you’re coming to the show in Colchester or the Kerrang show in London at ULU, please bring an article of clothing for the Project Emmaus Shelter. The show will be a tremendous amount of fun and tremendous show of humanity, we are greatly looking forward to it. “ Politico-punk icons, Anti-Flag recently released their new album, The Bright Lights of America on Hassle Records. The Bright Lights of America is their seventh album and the follow-up to their 2006 release For Blood And Empire. In addition to their shows at London ULU and Colchester Arts Centre on August 18th and 19th, the band will perform at the Reading & Leeds Festivals on the 22nd and 23rd of August."
