Iron Maiden have confirmed a Spanish date for their "Somewhere Back In Time World Tour 2008". The concert will take place on July 11th at the Via de La Plata Festival, held in Merida in southern Spain.

Rumor has it Avenged Sevenfold and Slayer could be playing this event as well, although there is no official confirmation. The date of this festival of course fuels further rumors about the line-up for this year's Roskilde Festival. Perhaps Slayer will redeem their cancellation last year?
