A Static Lullaby update

A Static Lullaby has posted an update on their Myspace page regarding their upcoming new album and some lineup changes:

Hey guys, Dane here. We figured it's been a while since our last update, so this is hopefully gonna bring you guys up to speed on what's been going on in the ASL camp. We are currently in the middle of writing the new record and it's been going extremely well. We pushed back our recording date a few months, so now we have a little more time to focus on making the best record possible. We've also taken this time off to finally begin to shape the band into the best possible form. As many of you noticed, we have parted ways with our guitarist John. There is no longer any dissention in the band and we are both collectively happier with our current situations. We wish him the best of luck with his future projects. It's also important to know that we are NOT on the lookout for a new guitarist as we are currently much better off and comfortable as a four piece. Thank you to everyone who has expressed interest, though. We've also finally found someone to permanently fill the drummers seat. Tyler Mahurin has been a close friend and amazing drummer for a while and we are happy to welcome to the family.

Anyhow, now that's out of the way, we have a brand new music video coming out soon! It will be premiering next week and should hopefully be able to hold you guys over till we can get some new music out for you. Also be on the lookout for a short run of shows early next year. We'll be playing some of the new songs, and we expect you guys to come out and tell us what you think. Thanks for the kind words, and for the support.

Love,

Dane, Dan, Tyler and Joe.

p.s. Listen to the new Say Anything cause it freakin rules.
