Newark, DE-formed metallic hardcore unit Year Of The Knife has debuted two new singles, respectively titled “Last Laugh” and “Wish”, both of which are available for streaming below. The first one features a guest appearance by Full Of Hell’s vocalist Dylan Walker, while the latter is visited by Sanguisugabogg’s frontman Devin Swank.

Both of these tracks were recorded prior to the horrific van accident the band was involved in this past summer, which left in particular their vocalist Madi Watkins suffering from life-changing injuries. Having been left in a critical condition, she continues her journey of recovery, including extensive physical rehabilitation, and cognition and speech therapy — and fortunately, updates on her condition from her bandmates have been quite encouraging lately.
