Stockholm, Sweden’s Viking-themed melodic death metal titans Amon Amarth will release their 12th studio album “The Great Heathen Army” through Metal Blade Records on August 05th. It comprises these songs:

Pre-orders for all formats of the record have been launched via the band’s official website, where you can also view the artwork, while the official music video for the lead single “Get in the Ring” is available for watching below.

Danish fans have a chance to experience the new material played live at the Forum Black Box in Frederiksberg on September 26th, where the band will co-headline with Machine Head, while The Halo Effect will provide support. There are still tickets available for purchase here for 545 DKK (+ fees), with further information available in the official Facebook event.
