Universal at it again.

This time Universal owned by the french company Vivendi has made a lawsuit against the ever growing MySpace.com claiming that MySpace encourages piracy. The claim goes for what Universal believes to be links to illegal music as well as illegal videos from Universal artists like Gwen Stefani and Jay-Z.

"Our music and videos plays a key part in building these communities which has created values for more than hundred million dollars to the owners of MySpace. Our goal is not to stand in the way for these communities but merely to ensure respect for our artists and our rights" says Universal.

This is not the first time Universal does this. Earlier this year a lawsuit against YouTube.com was filed which ended in a form of license agreement.
