Denver, CO’s doom / sludge metal crew Primitive Man have announced “Immersion” as the title of their third studio album, which is set to be released through Relapse Records on August 14th. It consists of the following songs:

01. “The Lifer”

02. “Entity”

03. “Menacing”

04. “∞”

05. “Foul”

06. “Consumption”

You can take a look at the artwork and pre-order the record in a format of your choosing here, while a music video for the lead single “The Lifer” is available for viewing below.

The band was supposed to appear at this year’s edition of the Roadburn Festival in Tilburg, Netherlands to play two distinct sets (one of them focusing exclusively on deep cuts), and as the organisers have vowed to try to preserve as much of the 2020 line-up as possible for the 2021 edition, we will of course be crossing our fingers that Primitive Man will be there when the festival returns between April 15th and April 18th next year. More information about it can be found in the official Facebook event.
