During a concert in Birmingham, AL yesterday, Tool finally confirmed that their new album will be released on August 30th this year. The long-awaited fifth full-length will be the first since 2006’s “10,000 Days”, which we reviewed here.

Danish fans will have an opportunity to experience the new material live before that, however, as Tool is booked to headline the Copenhell festival on Thursday, June 20th. Partout tickets, as well as all one-day tickets for that day are completely sold out, but keep an eye on the official Facebook event in case somebody decides to sell theirs.
