Posted by AP on 13/03/19

Cave In and Mutoid Man vocalist/guitarist Stephen Brodsky will team up with ambient folk / indie-rock singer-songwriter Marissa Nadler for a new collaborative album titled “Droneflower”, which will be released through Sacred Bones Records on April 26th. It features the following songs:

01. “Space Ghost I”

02. “For the Sun”

03. “Watch the Time”

04. “Space Ghost II”

05. “Dead West”

06. “Estranged”

07. “Shades Apart”

08. “Buried in Love”

09. “Morbid Mist”

10. “In Spite of Me”

You can view the artwork and pre-order the album here, while a stream of the first single, “For the Sun”, is available below.

Both artists are set to perform at the iconic Roadburn Festival this year — Brodsky with Cave In on Saturday, April 13th and Nadler in a solo format on Sunday, April 14th. It would, however, not be surprising if some kind of joint performance or cameo took place over the course of these two days.

The festival is completely sold out, but you can join the official Facebook event to try your luck in case somebody is selling their ticket(s). If not, you can at least look forward to our massive feature article covering the festival, which should be posted a few weeks after.
