Tool eyeing April release date for new album

Tool’s drummer Danny Carey recently revealed to a fan at the NAMM Festival that the elusive progressive metal icons plan to release their long-awaited fifth studio album in mid-April, though no specific date has been set yet. It follows 2006’s “10,000 Days”, which we reviewed here.

Danish fans can look forward to watching the band live for the first time since Roskilde Festival in 2006 at this year’s edition of Copenhell, where they are scheduled to headline on Thursday, June 20th.

Although one-day tickets for the Thursday are sold out, partout options are still in good supply and can be sourced from Ticketmaster.dk. For more information, see the official Facebook event.
