Norwegian black metal titans Immortal will release their long-awaited new album, “Northern Chaos Gods”, through Nuclear Blast Records on July 06th. It will be the group’s first studio album since 2009’s “All Shall Fall”, which we reviewed here, and their first without bassist/vocalist Abbath, who went onto form his own project. Instead, the vocals are now being handled by guitarist Demonaz.

While more details about the Peter Tägtgren-produced album are still pending, its eponymous first single will premiere on May 11th and will also be made available as a 7” vinyl pressing, which you can pre-order here.
