True to tradition, Danish metal blog Blastbeast.dk has announced the first of six artists to perform at the 2018 edition of The New S**t Showcase to coincide with this year’s event, which kicks off at 19:00 tonight at Copenhagen venue Pumpehuset.

The band in question is Archives Of Alaska, a technical metalcore outfit hailing from the Danish town of Roskilde. They will enter the studio with producer Chris Kreutzfeldt in May to record their début album, and whilst you wait for new material to surface, you can check out the two singles, ”You are the Morning” and ”Some Just Vanish”, below.

You can experience the quartet live tonight at the High Voltage night club in Copenhagen, supporting another exciting up-and-coming band, Hearteater, who are celebrating the release of their "Mare" EP. More information can be found in the official Facebook event.
