Kvelertak begin recording third album

Kvelertak have officially begun recording their third studio album, which they hope to have on the streets in May. The songs for the effort will be recorded live; that is, in one take and without a click track, in order to bring the band's energy in concert alive on record. The band announced their return to the studio via the following Facebook post:

Here we go!

The band's self-titled debut album remains one of the most talked about and critically acclaimed contemporary metal albums, and its successor "Meir" also upheld that standard.

Given that the band has already begun booking concerts in the European summer festival circuit, it would be surprising if one of the Danish events did not pick them up as well. A timely return to Copenhell perhaps, this time on the main stage?
