Victory Records sue Streetlight Manifesto

Victory Records have filed a lawsuit against Streetlight Manifesto for failing to fulfil their four-album contract with the label, as well as frontman Tomas Kalnoky releasing solo material through his own company whilst allegedly still contractually tied to Victory. According to a report by Court House News, the label also cites Kalnoky’s production delays and anarchic behaviour (such as encouraging the band’s fans to download the band’s albums illegally and to boycott the record label) as part of the suit.

Predictably, Streetlight Manifesto responded with an unimpressed view of the label:

Ironically, Victory Records hasn’t paid us a cent in royalties in over 2 years. More info soon. #irony #douchenuggets
