The Danish record labels' awards show, Danish Music Awards - which tends to focus on awarding the artists that have the widest impact on the Danish population in a given year - was held last night, and while most of the awards were given predictably to pop artists irrelevant to readers of this site, a couple of rock bands did manage to bring home some statues.

Specifically, veteran acid rockers Spids Nøgenhat won both Best Live Act and Best Rock Release. Meanwhile, the domestic glam/hair-metal institution D-A-D took home the Award Of Honour.
