Commenting on the theme of the album, guitarist Mads Møller offered:

Many of the songs on the new album deal with the significance of the decisions we make and question those things we are not happy with. I think it's important not just to go through life on autopilot.

Explaining their decision to invite Harry Radford for a guest appearance on "In Retrospect", Møller added:

We really looked up to those guys, because they radiated so much confidence and energy on stage. So 4 years later when we found ourselves discussing how cool it would be to get a guest vocalist to sing the respond on the chorus of the song, IN RETROSPECT, the clean vocalist of Yashin, Harry Radford, was one of the first guys to come to mind.

Bassist Jakob Lærke Munk added:

The fact that he is featured on the song takes us right from our early beginnings to where we stand today. At the same time we feel it is a stamp of approval to our music that it can arouse interest from outside the country.

Musically, the new album features a bigger and catchier sound than its self-titled predecessor. It was recorded at the Radionika Studios in Stockholm, Sweden in collaboration with producer Dino Medanhodzic, who helped them refine their own characteristic sound with Medanhodzic's own Nordic interpretation of the big American rock/pop-punk sound.

Following the celebration of the album's release at High Voltage in Copenhagen on the 22nd of August, the band will embark on the annual "Rock'N'Charity Tour" to further promote it. The dates for that trek run, as follows:
