On Friday the city of Copenhagen has put forth a proposition for reduced expenditure on the Amager Cultural Point which houses both Amager Bio and BETA venues. In the proposition it is nominated that BETA should be closed from January 1st 2015 onwards for a period of at least two years.

Here, at Rockfreaks.net we STRONGLY oppose this proposition as BETA is the single best small cap venue in Copenhagen (capacity: 150 + 50 guestlist/staff) with the best sound quality and a cheap bar on top. We've held numerous events at the venue for this very reason.
