Shivas Nat reveals info regarding new EP

Danish psychedelic bluesrockers Shivas Nat will release their debut EP sometime before May. Bjørn Sunesen, the band's organist, had the following to say regarding the new release (translated from Danish):

The EP is the end-product of a tour consisting of 11 gigs, which really benefitted the dynamics in the band. The songs are mindblowing, really, we did a lot of late night overdubs with Roland Space Echo machines playing a major part. Then we’ve got some reverse echoes, spacey organ sounds and huge guitar sounds – the whole package. We were in this studio for close to 100 hours, just jamming away and messing with effects pedals. We’ve got a track called “Dragonodyssey” which is a swirly, crazy track with a ‘full-speed ahead’ attitude on it. And then we’ve got some bluesy jams on it, and we’ve sort of also got a track reminiscent of the vibe on The Beatles’ ‘I Want You (She’s So Heavy)’. We’re aiming to release it sometime before May, as we’ve got some gigs coming up in that month and it would be great to have it with us, you know.
