Gratitude has broken up after releasing only one album. The band has issued the following statement on their break up:

"We played our final show on November 23rd, 2005. It was at the Ascot Room in Minneapolis, MN, Jer&Dave's hometown. It was a really fun time, a perfect ending. We ended happy and able to look each other in the eyes. In the much-too-short life of this band, we had some incredible times, put in a lot of good, hard work, and learned a lot about what we want and what we don't want in this life of trying to make a living making music. To anyone that ever listened at home or came to a show or helped us out in any way, thank you so much. We will continue to visit here and leave information about what we are all up to musically and otherwise. There are links to contact any of us personally, and we'd love that too. Again, thank you, from all of us."
