Copenhell has announced that Anaal Nathrakh have decided to pull out of their agreement with the festival to perform there this summer - apparently preferring to play at Roskilde Festival instead. They are expected to be announced for that event tomorrow, along with two other metal acts.

Copenhell have released the following statement regarding the news (translated from Danish):

Having had a clear agreement in place with the band, Anaal Nathrakh have, for totally inexplicable reasons, decided not to play at COPENHELL 2013 after all. One would have thought that it is exactly the right place and audience for them, but it seems they have not completely understood this. Let us not cry over spilled milk though - we will give you other goodies soon!
