We're a bit late on reporting this, but it was the Faroese Hamferð, who play doom metal, that emerged as the winners at the international final of this year's W:O:A Metal Battle at Wacken Open Air. They can now look forward to a contract with Nuclear Blast Records as well as a goodie "bag" of endorsements from the likes of Washburn, Marshall and Praise Boomer. Congratulations to them!
