Judging from a number (1, 2, 3, 4) of bands' pages, Facebook is trying to get them to pay so that whenever they post a status, everybody will actually see it. At the moment, roughly 10% of people who have actually 'Liked' a page will see an update. There is a way around this though, simply go to the page of a band, hover above 'Liked', and make sure 'Show In News Feed' is ticked.
