The Metalfest name is a big one in the European metal scene these days, running 9 separate events in 8 countries through the summer of 2012.

For the first time it will be venturing into the lands of Croatia where I, EW, will be heading in an attempt to experience something totally different. Checking out the some of the location photos suggest this should not be a difficult task.

Running from 2-5 June it boasts the below strong line-up, but with other events in Germany, Poland, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Italy there is plenty of choice.
