At The Drive-in vocalist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez confirmed in a recent interview with Kerrang!, that the band has no plans whatsoever to release a new album:

“Will there be a new album? No, no, no. At The Drive-In is more of a nostalgia thing – it’s songs we wrote when we were all in our 20s and we’re doing a couple of shows.”

He also went on to reveal to NME.com that financial reasons played a big part in the band's decision to reunite:

“We’re not getting any younger and there’s been an offer of money every year. You can’t avoid that. You’d be a fool and a politician to pretend that wasn’t part of it.”

So far the only European apeparance the band has confirmed will take place July 12th at the Festival Internacional de Benicàssim in Benicàssim, Spain.
