Copenhagen Library turns into a metal showdown

Hexis, a metal/hardcore hybrid from Copenhagen, has teamed up with Russian post-hardcore band Euglena for a release party to be held at the Copenhagen Library on Saturday, January 14th, of their co-released split album between each other and a French band As We Draw.

The bands promise that all the traditional rules of the library will be broken: you can expect strong smoke effects, impressive light displays, and of course violently loud music, so if you were looking for a quiet place to read on a Friday night and thought the library was the option, think again.

There will also be an interview on the scene with Michael Stützer of Artillery. Producer Flemming Rasmussen (Metallica, Morbid Angel, etc), and metal guru Steffen Jungersen will be controlling the fun on the stage.

The show takes place at the main library on Krystalgade 15, 1172 København K. Doors are at 19:00. Tickets are 50 DKK, which includes 1 free beer and earplugs, and can be bought here. Facebook event can be found here.
