The readers of Rolling Stone magazine were asked to pick their top 10 favorite punk bands ever. The result was fairly predictable:

6 Iggy and the Stooges

7 Black Flag

8 Misfits

9 Social Distortion

10 Bad Brains

If anything, the result is a tell-tale sign that readers of Rolling Stone don't know other punk bands than the old school (mainstream?) ones.
