Slayer guitarist Jeff Hanneman has contracted a flesh-eating disease by the name of necrotizing fasciitis - presumably from a spider-bite. This will prevent him from touring for an unknown period, but the band will tour as planned, featuring an as of yet unannounced guest guitarist with Gary Holt of Exodus filling in.
