I didn\'t know Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco had started a collaborative project called Cobra Starship, that instead of writing its own songs steals from others? Well, they didn\'t really, but that\'s the impression you get from listening to the opening track \"The City Is At War\", which takes the most annoying danceable R&B parts from \"Infinity On High\" and the theatrics from Panic! At The Disco, and puts them together with Enter Shikari\'s trademark eurotrance synthesizers. So basically Cobra Starship steals EVERYTHING that\'s \"in\" at the moment and makes it their own, leading into a predictably miserable final product. And the rest of \"Viva La Cobra\" is, if even humanly possible, MUCH worse.

For example, \"Guilty Pleasure\" can be taken about as seriously as an Avril Lavigne song, and \"One Day, Robots Will Cry\" shamelessly rips off from The Killers. Don\'t expect the band to thank them in the liner notes. Bring in some electro-flavored pop rock blatantly stolen from Brandtson in \"Kiss My Sass\" (*vomits*), a terrible sample of R&B/hip hop artist Mis-Teeq\'s club hit \"Scandalous\" in \"Damn You Look Good And I\'m Drunk (Scandalous)\", some bad beyond belief songwriting in \"Smile For The Paparazzi\", and the fate of this album is sealed. I refuse to listen to the last four songs on the album, because even if they were really the best damn thing (Avril pun for the slow readers), they couldn\'t save this album from absolute failure.

\"Viva La Cobra\", eh? Good thing most revolutionaries shouting Viva La something usually end up dead.
