Spirit Adrift to release "Enlightened in Eternity" in October

Phoenix, AZ and Austin, TX-based doom metal crew Spirit Adrift have announced the release of a new album entitled “Enlightened in Eternity” through Century Media on October 16th. It consists of the following tracks:


01. “Ride into the Light”

02. “Astral Levitation”

03. “Cosmic Conquest”

04. “Screaming from Beyond”

05. “Harmony of the Spheres”

06. “Battle High”

07. “Stronger Than Your Pain”

08. “Reunited in the Void”


You can check out the artwork and pre-order the effort in all formats here, while a lyric video for the first single “Harmony of the Spheres” is available for viewing below.


Danish fans will have an opportunity to watch the band live at Pumpehuset in Copenhagen on May 16th, supporting Corrosion Of Conformity. Tickets for the show can be bought here for 295 DKK (+ fees), while more information is available in the official Facebook event.

Svalbard unveils new video single: "Listen to Someone"

Bristol, United Kingdom-born post-hardcore outfit Svalbard have premiered a new video single titled “Listen to Someone” online below. It is featured on their upcoming album “When I Die, Will I Get Better?”, which is set to arrive via Holy Roar Records on September 25th and the details of which were listed in our previous news piece.


Danish fans will have an opportunity to experience the band live at Pumpehuset in Copenhagen on January 25th, as they will be supporting The Ocean on an extensive European tour alongside pg.lost and Hypno5e. Tickets for that show can be purchased here for 210 DKK (+ fees), while more information is available in the official Facebook event.

Alexis Marshall debuts new solo track: "Nature in Three Movements"

Daughters frontman Alexis Marshall has released a new single titled “Nature in Three Movements” and you can listen to it below. It is part of his upcoming solo album, which will be released through Sargent House in 2021, with more details still to be provided.


Marshall was supposed to make an appearance at the Roadburn Festival in Tilburg, Netherlands earlier this year for a covers set in collaboration with Lingua Ignota, but the event was cancelled. The organisers have, however, vowed to preserve as much of the 2020 line-up as possible when the festival returns between April 15th and April 18th, so there is still a possibility that he will play there next year — keep an eye on the official Facebook event for any updates.
