Idles have premiered a new video single titled “A Hymn” online below. It is included on the Bristol, United Kingdom-born post-punk / post-hardcore sensation’s upcoming album “Ultra Mono”, which will be released through Partisan Records on September 25th and was detailed in our earlier news item.


The band was supposed to provide support for Pearl Jam at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen last month, but the sold out show was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A new date is yet to be announced, but keep an eye on the official Facebook event for updates.

Venomous Concept — the hardcore punk supergroup that unites Napalm Death bassist Shane Embury and drummer Danny Herrera with guitarist John Cooke (of Corrupt Moral Altar) and vocalist Kevin Sharp (of Lock Up) — have debuted another song from their upcoming album “Politics Versus the Erection”, which is set to arrive via Season of Mist on August 28th and the details of which were listed in our previous news post. The track in question is called “Eliminate” and you can listen to it below.


Mercenary announces headlining concert in Herning in September

Aalborg, Denmark’s melodic death metal veterans Mercenary have announced a headlining concert at Fermaten in Herning on September 26th, which will be only their second domestic show in many years, having played in their hometown in the beginning of this year.


Tickets can be purchased from the venue’s website for 175 DKK a piece, while more information is available in the official Facebook event.


The band released a new single titled “From the Ashes of the Fallen” this past Spring and revealed that their eighth studio album (their first since 2013’s “Through Our Darkest Days”) is underway. You can watch the official music video for the song right here:

It serves as the title track to their upcoming album, which is set to be released by Black Voodoo Records and Blood Blast Distribution on August 07th, with more details available in our previous news article.


Void Rot to release "Descending Pillars" in September

Incantation premieres new video single: "Fury's Manifesto"

Incantation have premiered the official music video for their new track “Fury’s Manifesto” online below. It is featured on the Johnstown, PA-resident death metallers’ upcoming album “Sect of Vile Divinities”, which is set to be released through Relapse Records on August 21st and the details of which were listed in our previous news post.


The band will head out on a European tour with Belphegor, Horna and Necrosy this coming autumn, and the routing includes stops at the Aalborg Metal Festival in Aalborg on November 07th, as well as at Pumpehuset in Copenhagen on November 09th.


Tickets for the festival are yet to go on sale, but you can find more information about it in the official Facebook event. The second show is yet to be officially announced by the promoter / venue.

The 1975 reveals European tour in early 2021

Manchester, United Kingdom’s pop-rock icons The 1975 have announced a European tour in early 2021, and their itinerary kicks off with a concert at TAP1 in Copenhagen on February 12th.


Tickets for that show are on sale now over at Ticketmaster.dk for 420 DKK (+ fees), while more information can be found in the official Facebook event.
