On the 4th of July, it was time for the yearly tech-pilgrimage to Newark-on-Trent, England for one of my favourite festivals in the world: UK Tech-Fest. The first single from the Melbourne, Australia-based hardcore punk crew Deez Nuts’ upcoming album “You Got Me Fucked Up” has seen the light of day in the form of “Crooked Smile”, and it comes with a music video, which you can watch below. The record itself will be released through Century Media on October 18th and is now available for pre-order in all formats here.

Los Angeles, CA-resident hard rock supergroup Bad Wolves have revealed the details of their upcoming album “N.A.T.I.O.N.”, which they will release through Eleven Seven Music on October 25th. The record consists of the twelve tracks listed below:

Horlivka, Ukraine-born metalcore sensation Jinjer will release a new album titled “Macro” through Napalm Records on October 25th. It contains the following songs:

Exhorder streaming new song: "Hallowed Sound"

New Orleans, LA-born groove / thrash metal veterans Exhorder have unleashed a new song called “Hallowed Sound”, which comes with the below lyric video. It is taken from their forthcoming album “Mourn the Southern Skies” (their first recorded out put in 27 years!), which is set to be released through Nuclear Blast Records on September 20th, and the details of which were listed in our earlier news article.


Fabled Mind unveils debut video single: "Before the Slaughter"

Copenhagen, Denmark-based skate-punk newcomers Fabled Mind have premiered their first single, “Before the Slaughter”, and it comes with a music video, which you can watch in the bottom of this news post. One presumes it will appear on an eventual début album from the band, the details of which, however, are yet to be revealed.

Calabasas, CA-born alternative rock group Incubus has unleashed a brand new video single titled “Into the Summer”, which you can check out below. The band is about to embark on a 20th Anniversary tour of North America for their multi-platinum album “Make Yourself”, so it is conceivable that this track will be included as a bonus track on some sort of re-issue of that record.

Press Club reveals "Behave" music video

Press Club have a new music video out for “Behave” — one of the songs featuring on the Melbourne, Australia-based indie-punks’ latest album “Wasted Energy”, which came out last Friday, August 16th via Hassle Records.


The band will play at Stengade in Copenhagen on September 18th alongside DZ Deathrays. Tickets for that show are available for purchase here for just 9,99 DKK a piece, while more information can be found in the official Facebook event.

Solbrud to play concert in a water tower in Brønshøj in November

Copenhagen, Denmark-based atmospheric black metal group Solbrud has announced a unique concert experience taking place inside the old water tower in the suburb of Brønshøj on November 23rd.


Tickets are priced at 200 DKK (+ fees) and are available for purchase now via Billetlugen.dk, while more information can be found in the official Facebook event.


Solbrud are no strangers to staging shows in interesting locations, and their music seems a perfect fit for the raw concrete confines of the water tower. Judge for yourself by streaming their latest album, 2017’s “Vemod”, right here:
