Richmond, VA’s metalcore faction Bad Omens have joined forces with the Los Angeles, CA-based industrial noise rock and metal group Health and the Floridian dubstep artist SWARM for a new collaborative single titled “The Drain”, which you can listen to below, along with a new version of the title track to the band’s latest studio album, 2022’s “The Death of Peace of Mind”.


It is included on the band’s upcoming compilation “Concrete Jungle [The OST]”, which features a number of such collaborations, live recordings, reimagined takes and brand new singles. It is set to arrive via Sumerian Records on May 31st and can be pre-saved on digital streaming platforms here.

Viva Vertigo confirmed as opener for Psyched Up Janis in Copenhagen

Danish alternative rock outfit Viva Vertigo has been confirmed as the opening act for Psyched Up Janis’ upcoming concert at Store VEGA in Copenhagen next Friday, April 26th. The bill also includes the previously confirmed main support band The Courettes.


Tickets for the show are completely sold out, but you can sign up for a waiting list over at Ticketmaster.dk. For more information, see the official Facebook event.

Slimelord & more booked for Copenhagen show in June

Danish extreme metal booking agency Killtown Bookings has announced the first of the year’s One Day of Death concerts, which will take place at Basement in Copenhagen on June 27th.


The show will be headlined by the Leeds, United Kingdom-based death and doom metal crew Slimelord, and will feature support by Cryptworm and Pustulant Flesh.


Tickets for the concert are available for purchase over at Billetto.dk for 100 DKK (+ fees), while more details can be found in the official Facebook event.


Slimelord released their latest studio album “Chytridiomycosis Relinquished” through 20 Buck Spin earlier this year, and you can listen to the song “Tidal Slaughtermarsh” from it below.
